Ulduar Recruitment (updated April 2nd)
We are currently seeking a few players to fill out our ranks for Ulduar. We are currently looking for:
- 2 HUNTERS
- 2 DEATHKNIGHTS
- 1 BOOMKIN
- 1 ROGUE
- 1 ELEMENTAL SHAMAN
Please remember that we are always recruiting exceptional players of any class.
Keep in mind that classes with a high priority will see near 100% raid time. With lower priority classes having a steeper curve to prove themselves. But make no mistake, every new recruit gets ample chances to prove themselves equal or better than our current lot of raiders. And those recruits who do end up proving to be more skilled and more consistent will earn a full time raider spot.
Our current raid schedule is (all times EST) Tuesday 7:15 until 11pm and Wednesday 7:15 until done (usually 8:30). Our progression schedule is Monday thru Thursday, 7:15 until 11pm, with the possibility of pushing up until Midnight based on progress. There is also the possibility of a raid on either Friday or Sunday (one, not both) from 7:15 until 11pm. This optional raid day is usually for content on farm status.
If you are interested in applying, head on over to our forums and apply.
Game over
Malygos (25-man) died tonight. Realm first, gay title. And with this kill, we have completed all WotLK launch raid content (both 10 and 25 man).
Still recruiting all healers, warlocks, and any heroic or better geared players. Come and get your gear before the next raid dungeon opens up.
Naxx25, all 10-man content cleared
Our first week of 25-man raids went extremely well. Even though we missed 3 of our 5 raiding days due to Thanksgiving, we still managed to fully clear Naxx25 (realm first) and Obsidian Sanctum 25. We also found time to kill Malygos10 (also realm first) between the turkey coma and 25 man raiding. Only thing left for us in WotLK raiding is Malygos25. Here’s hoping we get some new, challenging content soon.
On the recruitment front, we are currently recruiting healers of all classes and warlocks. We are also interested in any applicant that has completely replaced their gear with at least heroic level blues/epics (item level 200 or better). If you’re interested in applying, head on over to our forums.
Naxxramas 10 cleared
Kel’Thuzad screenshot to come.
All in all, Naxx10 was a complete joke. I don’t think we had more than 3 wipes on any boss. Oh well, on to Malygos to complete the 10 man content. And then to do it all over again in 25 man once we have enough people leveled to 80. Wheeeee.
First Raid of Wrath of the Lich King
Result? Obsidian Sanctum 10-man, the Plagued Wing of Naxx10, and the Spider Wing of Naxx10 full cleared. Death Knight wing was cleared up to the Four Horsemen. All in all, a great raid night considering a sub-optimal composition.
Screenshots to come.
6/6 Sunwell, Game Over
Edit: Kil’jaeden down. Grats to our new recruits who surpassed our every expectation and to our members who stuck with us during our summer blues. I will be updating this news entry this weekend with screenshots and additional info.
Just a quick update for everyone. With our first week of raiding since the 3.0.2 patch, we hopped into Sunwell and killed everything up to Kil’jaeden. Probably would have had a shot at killing KJ this week if it weren’t for various server issues, as we ended up only getting a little less than an hour on him.
All in all, we have mixed feelings about the 3.0.2 nerf. On one hand, it’s nice to see the content and get the gear in a more relaxed raid setting. It’s also nice to bring in people who’s only raid experience is Karazhan and still down bosses. On the other hand, it’s so easy now that the sense of accomplishment is close to nil. But AOE healing is still too valuable. Why they didn’t give paladins a better AOE heal is beyond me. And having a shortage of AOE healing in the guild makes things hard on every fight after Brutallus (making a feral go restoration or making someone log on a under geared priest just for AOE heals is not fun).
But in the end, the bosses died, we got loot, and we had fun. Who knows, maybe next week we’ll get KJ down and be able to celebrate full clearing (a nerfed) Sunwell Plateau.
On the recruitment front, it is still open for all classes. However, open recruitment will end with the launch of Wrath of the Lich King. So if you’re interested in joining, please apply within the next 2 weeks.
Recruiting all classes for WotLK

It’s been awhile since we’ve made a new entry to our front page. But we figured it was about time to post an update!
We have opened recruitment for all classes for the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. We expected to field only a couple more raiders before the expansion hits, so it’s the perfect time to bring in any new members who want to raid at level 80.
Many of our members have beta accounts and have already been raiding level 80 content. We fully expect to have multiple 10 man groups running within the week of people hitting level 80. With 25 man content following soon thereafter.
We will be raiding 5 days a week come Wrath of the Lich King. Four of the days being our primary raid days. Those being Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A fifth day for “farm content” will be either on Friday or Sunday (still undecided on the day). If you cannot make all 4 primary raid days, don’t be scared away. We have a “Casual Raider” rank for those players who can only make 3 raids or less a week.
With every 25 man dungeon having a 10 man component, there will be plenty of content to do. In fact, we plan on running four or five 10-man groups with one 25-man group on top of that.
If you’re interested in apply, head on over to our Application forum or click the link at the bottom of this entry. As long as you fill out the template fully, answer honestly, and follow all the instructions, odds are you will be accepted. If you can’t do those three things, don’t bother applying.
So if you’re tired of your current guild, or want to try something new, come and join us for Wrath of the Lich King.

Kalecgos kil… err… freed?
All I have to say is about damn time! Took way to long to kill this mofo. Now to bang our head against the DPS check that is Brutallus.
Ysondre Raid Cycle XXV - The “same shit, different week” edition
Last Monday we completed our 25th raid cycle on Ysondre. 3 day Hyjal and Black Temple clear, with Monday on Kalecgos. Made some good progress on him, but still a little undergeared. Got both mobs below 17% on our best attempt. Just some tweaks on our strategy and we’ll have him. That’s assuming our healers sign on! Lost a raid day last week due to only 4 of them signing on. Go go freakish string of events!
And speaking of healers, are you a healer? Do you want to join us in Sunwell? We’re specifically looking for restoration shaman and restoration druids, but we’ll accept well-geared healers of any class. Head on over to our forums to apply, or talk to Osirisofdoom in game if you wish to be more discreet.
